      The Contour World Map is an educational mat with dimensions 200 x 135 cm.

      It is a multifunctional learning material in accordance with the assumptions of the Montessori method.

      The mat is covered with a safe, easy to clean latex surface. You can write and draw on it  and also cover it with playdough.

      For writing on the mat, we recommend washable pens that do not contain alcohol, and their dyes are made of water (for example Jovi pens).

      Here are some examples of activities with the map:

       

      1. cover map with different sensory materials like playdough
      2. colouring and writing with washable pens
      3. travel route planning
      4. mark specific areas (e.g.mountains, deserts, the largest forests
      5. all work with animal figures and educational cards, photos, diagrams

      We add a pack of Jovi pens for free with the 130 x 100 and 200 x 135 sizes.

       

      Due to the nature and type of printing, we recommend gently cleaning the mat (with water and paper towel, without aggressive rubbing. 

       

      Our mats are based on safe latex paints recommended for children.

      The map is packed in a cardboard tube.
